The audience thought a goal was coming when Greg Forstar got free with Stewart Harold in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Greg Forstar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stewart Harold having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jake Laidlaw in the 13th minute of play forced Crazy Monks F.C.'s goalkeeper Ian Charles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nick Caddell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Stewart Harold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quentin Caw in the 16th minute of play forced Crazy Monks F.C.'s goalkeeper Ian Charles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Crazy Monks F.C.'s Evan McNey got a free kick in the 17th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Crazy Monks F.C.'s Nick Caddell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stewart Harold made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in JAMAICA REDEMPTION's zone, Greg Forstar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stewart Harold came out of the goal and Greg Forstar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nick Caddell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stewart Harold having to interfere. In the 32nd match minute, Crazy Monks F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Harold to maneuver through the defense. Jake Laidlaw recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Quentin Caw struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Ian Charles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JAMAICA REDEMPTION. In the 40th minute, Jake Laidlaw got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Crazy Monks F.C.'s goalkeeper Ian Charles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 43rd match minute, Crazy Monks F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Harold to maneuver through the defense. Jake Laidlaw got in the 45th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Ian Charles handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jake Laidlaw in the 47th minute of play forced Crazy Monks F.C.'s goalkeeper Ian Charles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nick Caddell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tom Garvie hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Stewart Harold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nick Caddell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 56 in the game by Quentin Caw from a close distance when the talented Ian Charles managed to make a qualified save. Crazy Monks F.C.'s players were relieved. 1-1 became the score in the 57th minute when Jake Laidlaw elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Stewart Harold came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Crazy Monks F.C.'s Nick Caddell. But to his dismay, Nick Caddell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Greg Forstar might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stewart Harold. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Greg Forstar ran back to his position shaking his head. Stewart Harold stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Greg Forstar's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. A collision led to JAMAICA REDEMPTION getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Tom Garvie hit a great ball. Greg Forstar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Darius Begg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stewart Harold was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. 89 minutes into the game, Jake Laidlaw recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ian Charles. Jake Laidlaw showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. JAMAICA REDEMPTION's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
