The referee gave JAMAICA REDEMPTION a penalty, 14 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cameron McMillan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Culbokie AC's Alisdair Duffy. 1-1. 19 minutes into the match, JAMAICA REDEMPTION's goalkeeper Stewart Harold had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sid Morrison. Malcolm Forrest's late challenge caught a Culbokie AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Malcolm Forrest helped the player get up and apologised. Malcolm Forrest kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Culbokie AC were awarded a corner. Malcolm McKinlay went to the cornerflag to take it. Malcolm McKinlay made a great header on Culbokie AC's corner, it was just that JAMAICA REDEMPTION's Stewart Harold managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 29th minute, Quentin Caw got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Rick McFall came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Culbokie AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rick McFall couldn't finish the play. Rick McFall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Stewart Harold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timmy Balloch in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stewart Harold saved JAMAICA REDEMPTION from getting behind. If Jake Laidlaw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timmy Balloch struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Stewart Harold didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Culbokie AC. In the 45th minute Rick McFall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stewart Harold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Rick McFall made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Rick McFall ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stewart Harold was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 57 minutes into the game, Quentin Caw cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Alisdair Duffy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the JAMAICA REDEMPTION defense, Timmy Balloch kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stewart Harold. The JAMAICA REDEMPTION fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stewart Harold should have stopped the shot. After 64 minutes, Dean Leckie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the JAMAICA REDEMPTION and the Culbokie AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th minute there was a penalty for Culbokie AC. Malcolm McKinlay stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Stewart Harold. 4-2. When Culbokie AC's Timmy Balloch in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. JAMAICA REDEMPTION's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. JAMAICA REDEMPTION's Mike Menzies got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stewart Harold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timmy Balloch in the 90th minute of the match. Quentin Caw sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of JAMAICA REDEMPTION booed when Culbokie AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 101 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timmy Balloch didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Culbokie AC had won after a very even match.
