After 20 minutes, Joshua Cole mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dunbeath FC and the Fc Wpierdol players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joshua Cole hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Terry Morrison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Terry Morrison came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Fc Wpierdol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Terry Morrison couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd play minute Raymond Rusk came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Liam McMonies. 1-0. Raymond Rusk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liam McMonies having to interfere. Alan Kennethson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terry Morrison in the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Timothy McHardie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paul Coulson made a kick off. In the 64th minute, Paul Coulson made a precise shot to the right of Liam McMonies. Fc Wpierdol's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Paul Coulson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liam McMonies having to interfere. In the 77th minute Terry Morrison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan Kennethson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Fc Wpierdol booed when Dunbeath FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timothy McHardie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dunbeath FC's Alan Kennethson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Terry Morrison in the 81st minute of play. In the 85th minute Terry Morrison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan Kennethson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dunbeath FC's Alan Kennethson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Terry Morrison in the 86th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Dunbeath FC's zone, Terry Morrison stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alan Kennethson came out of the goal and Terry Morrison tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94th minute Terry Morrison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan Kennethson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Terry Morrison in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alan Kennethson saved Dunbeath FC from getting behind. Fc Wpierdol's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
