If Thomas McCombich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jordan McGorry didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Keith Neilson went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Alex McGruder took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ter Rose. Ter Rose dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 15th minute, Reece Murray hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 27 minutes of play, Erskine FC's Bruce McPhedran made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jordan McGorry was left in no man's land by his defense there! Real Renfrew's Jordan McGorry played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruce McPhedran in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Real Renfrew's Wayne Binnie seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Wayne Binnie the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Real Renfrew protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Wayne Binnie had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of Real Renfrew:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Erskine FC:s goal. In the 36th minute there was a penalty for Erskine FC. Robbie McGeoch stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jordan McGorry. 1-3. 43 minutes into the game, Innes McChlerich recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ter Rose. Innes McChlerich showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thomas McCombich to strike the kick off in the second half. Arthur McCook fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ter Rose having to interfere. Reece Murray kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Terry Campbell dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jordan McGorry, 2-4. Jordan McGorry stood somewhat misplaced when Thomas McCombich came free in front of goal and shot 2-5 to the left of him in the 62 minute. In the 65th minute, Bruce McPhedran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Real Renfrew's goal looked a bit too open when Keith Neilson came free, but Jordan McGorry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Reece Murray fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Renfrew's protests and gave Reece Murray a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Real Renfrew's Reece Murray got a free kick in the 70th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Real Renfrew's goalkeeper Jordan McGorry had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thomas McCombich. Arthur McCook received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ter Rose tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Real Renfrew's goalkeeper Jordan McGorry had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruce McPhedran. Blair Coultard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ter Rose having to make a save. Blair Coultard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ter Rose read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Jordan McGorry made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Bruce McPhedran sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Blair Coultard during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Real Renfrew's Blair Coultard got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 90th match minute, Real Renfrew was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reece Murray to maneuver through the defense. The Real Renfrew fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Erskine FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
