Seating: 2062, VIP seats: 179) A collision led to St.Mirren getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Stevie McAlonie hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Edmond Niven managed to get in a good position for a shot. grangemouth's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmond Niven was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walter Wylie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 16 minutes, Matthew Wilkie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the St.Mirren and the grangemouth players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, St.Mirren's Matthew Wilkie got a free kick in the 16th minute. Walter Wylie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aiden McKersey in the 17th minute of the match. Walter Wylie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aiden McKersey, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 23 minutes into the match, St.Mirren's goal looked a bit too open when Aiden McKersey came free, but Walter Wylie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Walter Wylie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aiden McKersey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matthew Wilkie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles-Antoine Boegaerts having to interfere. After 37 minutes, Neil McLeverty made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. St.Mirren's Walter Wylie tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás da Silveira in the 40th minute of play forced St.Mirren's goalkeeper Walter Wylie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, St.Mirren's goal looked a bit too open when Edmond Niven came free, but Walter Wylie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Matthew Wilkie was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 47 minutes had been played. The wind increased when Aiden McKersey made the kick off in the second half. grangemouth's Neil McLeverty managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Taylor Drysdale in the 53 minute of the game. 54 minutes into the match, Tomás da Silveira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Walter Wylie. St.Mirren's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomás da Silveira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. St.Mirren's Walter Wylie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aiden McKersey in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, St.Mirren's goalkeeper Walter Wylie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aiden McKersey. Walter Wylie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmond Niven, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aiden McKersey in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walter Wylie saved St.Mirren from getting behind. 66 minutes into the game, Benito Martínez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. grangemouth's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave St.Mirren the free kick. After a rather tough play, grangemouth's Benito Martínez got a free kick in the 66th minute. Walter Wylie was a little too slow when Edmond Niven got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 0-3. When Stevie McAlonie fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored St.Mirren's protests and gave Stevie McAlonie a yellow card for diving instead. 77 minutes into the match, Edmond Niven notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of St.Mirren's Walter Wylie. Walter Wylie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tomás da Silveira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Walter Wylie skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aiden McKersey in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walter Wylie saved St.Mirren from getting behind. In the 94th minute, grangemouth's Tomás da Silveira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Walter Wylie. Walter Wylie yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. grangemouth's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
