Malcolm Ingram showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aiden McKersey in the 11th minute of the match. Aiden McKersey in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Malcolm Ingram, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 17th minute, grangemouth's Aiden McKersey ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Malcolm Ingram. Malcolm Ingram yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Charles-Antoine Boegaerts came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Cromarty's Nick McIldowie. But to his dismay, Nick McIldowie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 30 played minutes Cromarty got a freekick which was hit by Duncan Ellis. After a defensive mix-up in Cromarty's zone, Vicente Hechter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Malcolm Ingram came out of the goal and Vicente Hechter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Malcolm Ingram showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmond Niven in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Aiden McKersey left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The grangemouth fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Malcolm Ingram stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aiden McKersey's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Douglas Burk to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Aiden McKersey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Malcolm Ingram was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. 59 minutes into the match, Cromarty's goal looked a bit too open when Aiden McKersey came free, but Malcolm Ingram reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Aiden McKersey managed to get in a good position for a shot. grangemouth's supporters rose to their feet, but Aiden McKersey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Malcolm Ingram breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aiden McKersey in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Malcolm Ingram prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomás da Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute Aiden McKersey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malcolm Ingram saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Malcolm Ingram was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Tomás da Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Malcolm Ingram took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmond Niven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the game, Neil McLeverty cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Malcolm Ingram was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Aiden McKersey managed to get in a good position for a shot. grangemouth's supporters rose to their feet, but Aiden McKersey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
