Martin Sorely showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thor Brask in the 4th minute of the match. Greenock's Martin Sorely played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steven Mein in the 6th minute of play. The supporters of Greenock booed when Electric Circus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carsten Bjørnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Graham McGeoch took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jason Clayton. Electric Circus FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Greenock's Martin Sorely proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Greenock from getting a goal against them. Martin Sorely showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steven Mein, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. If Thor Brask had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 38th match minute, Greenock was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walter McChoiter to maneuver through the defense. Greenock's Martin Sorely played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thor Brask in the 45th minute of play. Thor Brask blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Martin Sorely having to make a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Greenock's goalkeeper Martin Sorely, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thor Brask sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martin Sorely made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thor Brask in the 57th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Thor Brask's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martin Sorely was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Martin Sorely came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Electric Circus FC's Steven Mein. But to his dismay, Steven Mein quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. 69 minutes into the match, Steven Mein notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Greenock's Martin Sorely. Martin Sorely was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Duffus in the 76th minute of play forced Greenock's goalkeeper Martin Sorely to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute Thor Brask shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Sorely saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 78 played minutes Electric Circus FC got a freekick which was hit by Pasi Grönvall. If Thor Brask had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thor Brask received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Martin Sorely tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pasi Grönvall in the 91st minute of play forced Greenock's goalkeeper Martin Sorely to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carsten Bjørnsson scored 8-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Martin Sorely, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Electric Circus FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
