Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Boimo's Silvano Pegado started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dércio Mansilha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Gastão Damásio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvano Pegado in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olívio Fragoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvano Pegado got free with Olívio Fragoso in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gastão Damásio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dércio Mansilha, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Gastão Damásio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olívio Machado in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olívio Machado in the 32nd minute of play forced Boimo's goalkeeper Gastão Damásio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Boimo getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Abel Valentim hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, Raul Portugal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the match, Mendo FC's Micael Domingos broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Olívio Fragoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvano Pegado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 played minutes Mendo FC got a freekick which was hit by Lúcio Álvares. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Quintino Onofre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boimo's supporters rose to their feet, but Quintino Onofre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olívio Fragoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mendo FC's Olívio Fragoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Mendo FC from getting a goal against them. Abel Valentim hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Dércio Mansilha made the kick off in the second half. Olívio Fragoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvano Pegado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute, Silvano Pegado made a precise shot to the right of Olívio Fragoso. Mendo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 61 minutes into the game, Silvano Pegado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Olívio Fragoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gastão Damásio made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Olívio Machado sent off a good shot on target. Silvano Pegado struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Olívio Fragoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boimo. With a little luck, Boimo's Gastão Damásio got control of the ball when Olívio Machado tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 78th minute, Abel Valentim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mendo FC's Olívio Machado got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rd minute Silvano Pegado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olívio Fragoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvano Pegado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olívio Fragoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvano Pegado in the 88th minute of the match. Silvano Pegado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Boimo booed when Mendo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lúcio Álvares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Márcio Couto kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match.
