In the 5th minute, Simão Gonçalves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 8 minutes, Jordão Maltez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dark Wolves FC and the Rochoso FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th match minute, Dark Wolves FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jordão Maltez to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the match, Dark Wolves FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Lisboa came free, but Joaquim Onofre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dark Wolves FC's Bernardo Baldaia got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Xavier Valente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Rochoso FC booed when Dark Wolves FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jordão Maltez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquim Onofre came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Rochoso FC's Jorge Lisboa. But to his dismay, Jorge Lisboa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gabriel Santarém showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Falcão in the 33rd minute of the match. When Rochoso FC's Emílio Cardoso in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dark Wolves FC's goalie prevented a goal. Gabriel Santarém made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Falcão in the 36th minute of play. Rochoso FC's Xavier Valente got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardo Baldaia got free with Gabriel Santarém in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half Rochoso FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 55 minutes, Eduardo Henriques mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rochoso FC and the Dark Wolves FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eduardo Henriques hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Gabriel Santarém showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Falcão in the 57th minute of the match. Xavier Valente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Joaquim Onofre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Hamilton Rego fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dark Wolves FC's protests and gave Hamilton Rego a yellow card for diving instead. Hamilton Rego kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Ramiro Távora kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Xavier Valente's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquim Onofre was relentless in the 84th minute of the game.
