Spectators: 6650 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 0) ACDCASAL's Ademar Santos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ademar Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Alberto Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 6 minutes into the game, ACDCASAL's Zeferino Vilela nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alberto Tavares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Devils's Alberto Tavares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Devils from getting a goal against them. In the 12th match minute, ACDCASAL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antero Veiga to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute Nuno Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basílio Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Devils's Alberto Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Brás in the 18th minute of play. Lech Kempka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Basílio Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Lech Kempka came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Devils fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lech Kempka couldn't finish the play. After 29 played minutes Devils got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Henriques. The supporters of ACDCASAL booed when Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogério Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Amílcar Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alberto Tavares acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 38th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ricardo Brás. 40 minutes into the game, Zeferino Vilela recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alberto Tavares. Zeferino Vilela showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Nuno Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basílio Dantas having to interfere. After 46 minutes, Benedito Vilas Boas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ACDCASAL and the Devils players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Devils booed when ACDCASAL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedito Vilas Boas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nuno Esteves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lech Kempka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Basílio Dantas made a huge save. In the 57th minute Nuno Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basílio Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, ACDCASAL's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Esteves came free, but Basílio Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Nuno Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lech Kempka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Basílio Dantas made a huge save. After 71 played minutes ACDCASAL got a freekick which was hit by Zeferino Vilela. Lech Kempka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Devils's Abel Pinheiro got a free kick in the 79th minute. Lech Kempka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Lukasz Szarmach could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Basílio Dantas however easily saved by the left post. 93 minutes into the game, Zeferino Vilela cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Alberto Tavares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. ACDCASAL's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
