An unexpectedly hard shot by António Fernandes in the 7th minute of play forced Murtosa's goalkeeper Mário Brás to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute Júlio Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mário Brás saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 10 played minutes Murtosa got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão Melo. Miguel Luz scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mário Brás, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Miguel Luz hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Cristóvão Melo kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Ricardo Brito hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. António Henriques, 27 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. André Figueiredo was a little too slow when António Henriques got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 2-2. Mário Brás didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from António Fernandes went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. André Figueiredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Rodrigues, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atletico Já Fumega's goalkeeper André Figueiredo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for António Fernandes to strike the kick off in the second half. André Figueiredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. André Figueiredo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of António Henriques's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute, Gil Leite got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Atletico Já Fumega's Afonso Matos got a free kick in the 56th minute. The referee gave Murtosa a penalty, 60 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by António Henriques, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Atletico Já Fumega's André Figueiredo. 3-3. Cristóvão Melo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Atletico Já Fumega's André Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by António Henriques in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Rodrigues in the 66th minute of play forced Atletico Já Fumega's goalkeeper André Figueiredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, António Henriques put it in 4-3 from a short distance just to the right of André Figueiredo. António Henriques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Atletico Já Fumega's André Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by António Henriques in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of Murtosa booed when Atletico Já Fumega was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Luz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atletico Já Fumega's goalkeeper André Figueiredo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Miguel Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico Já Fumega's zone, Gil Leite stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Figueiredo came out of the goal and Gil Leite tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. André Figueiredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from António Henriques in the 92nd minute of the match.
