In the 18thth minute of the game Albertino Fonseca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sacoto's Raul Azeredo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. GRUPO DESPORTIVO ZON's supporters crossed their fingers, but César Macedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexandre Pinto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Filipe Vaz having to make a save. Filipe Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Cerqueira in the 30th minute of the match. Raul Azeredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Moura in the 31st minute of the match. Sacoto's Alexandre Pinto got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albertino Fonseca in the 36th minute of play forced Sacoto's goalkeeper Raul Azeredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albertino Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandre Pinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Filipe Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Albertino Fonseca made the kick off in the second half. Paulo Veiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th minute, Cristiano Gomes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. GRUPO DESPORTIVO ZON's Eduardo Moura got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexandre Pinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Vaz having to interfere. César Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandre Pinto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albertino Fonseca in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raul Azeredo saved Sacoto from getting behind. Alexandre Pinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Filipe Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandre Pinto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eduardo Moura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Raul Azeredo made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albertino Fonseca in the 85th minute of play forced Sacoto's goalkeeper Raul Azeredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albertino Fonseca in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raul Azeredo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Albertino Fonseca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raul Azeredo was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Raul Azeredo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albertino Fonseca went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The Sacoto fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. GRUPO DESPORTIVO ZON were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
