Belchior Gois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Oskar Sjödin in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th match minute, Malpica FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldo Moita to maneuver through the defense. Belchior Gois was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gregório Pádua made a kick off. Super Cagalhões's Cristiano Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Óscar Figueiras in the 52nd minute of play. Gregório Pádua's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristiano Correia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Super Cagalhões's Per-Oskar Sjödin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Per-Oskar Sjödin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Belchior Gois came out and tried to block the shot, but Per-Oskar Sjödin slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 57th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Filinto Modesto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristiano Correia. Super Cagalhões's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filinto Modesto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Krešo Livačić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Belchior Gois tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Super Cagalhões's Cristiano Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregório Pádua in the 66th minute of play. After having played for 70 minutes, Per-Oskar Sjödin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Super Cagalhões's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per-Oskar Sjödin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st match minute, Malpica FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murilo Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. Cristiano Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filinto Modesto in the 75th minute of the match. When Per-Oskar Sjödin fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Super Cagalhões's protests and gave Per-Oskar Sjödin a yellow card for diving instead. Per-Oskar Sjödin kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Gregório Pádua made a precise shot to the right of Cristiano Correia. Super Cagalhões's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. Cristiano Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregório Pádua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gregório Pádua might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristiano Correia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gregório Pádua ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Per-Oskar Sjödin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Belchior Gois was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Malpica FC's Belchior Gois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krešo Livačić in the 96th minute of play. In the 97th minute of the match Super Cagalhões got a corner. Malpica FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rui Pacheco ran over to the corner to take the kick. Super Cagalhões played a much better game than Malpica FC and deserved their victory. The Malpica FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
