After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Amílcar Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tarrio's supporters rose to their feet, but Amílcar Ramos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caio Mascarenhas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 27 minutes in the game, Amílcar Ramos fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Caio Mascarenhas having to interfere. Amílcar Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Caio Mascarenhas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amílcar Ramos might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Caio Mascarenhas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amílcar Ramos ran back to his position shaking his head. When Amílcar Ramos came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Tarrio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amílcar Ramos couldn't finish the play. REAL MADRID's Caio Mascarenhas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save REAL MADRID from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Afonso Gomes made a kick off. Avelino Vilas Boas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Diamantino Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Avelino Vilas Boas got free with Diamantino Melo in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th minute, Avelino Vilas Boas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The REAL MADRID fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 60 minutes into the match, Joel Andrade had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Caio Mascarenhas. REAL MADRID's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Andrade was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After 63 played minutes REAL MADRID got a freekick which was hit by Alcides Salgueiro. Caio Mascarenhas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Guerreiro in the 65th minute of the match. Adolfo Guerreiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Caio Mascarenhas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Caio Mascarenhas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Guerreiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Caio Mascarenhas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amílcar Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as REAL MADRID's Afonso Gomes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Diamantino Melo. That made the score 3-2 after 92 minutes of play. Caio Mascarenhas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amílcar Ramos went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Tarrio walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
