Spectators: 7229 (Terracing: 5423, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Higino Caiado kicked off to start the match. Pedro Aguiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rúben Sá in the 5th minute of play. In the last second Pedro Aguiar throw himself and got hold of the ball when Higino Caiado in the 9thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The throw-in from Nivaldo Viana in the 20th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by C.D.Boavista's Rodrigo Correia. Pedro Aguiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higino Caiado, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After a rather tough play, C.D.Boavista's Paulo Alves got a free kick in the 27th minute. If André Damásio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pedro Aguiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higino Caiado in the 30th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, André Damásio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Alves in the 37th minute of play forced Lobatos FC's goalkeeper Baybora Tanbey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lobatos FC's Baybora Tanbey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Alves in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulo Alves to make the kick off. André Damásio kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. When Higino Caiado came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Lobatos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Higino Caiado couldn't finish the play. A collision led to C.D.Boavista getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Rodrigo Correia hit a great ball. André Damásio struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Pedro Aguiar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lobatos FC. Higino Caiado charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Higino Caiado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 67 played minutes Lobatos FC got a freekick which was hit by Higino Caiado. C.D.Boavista's Pedro Aguiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Cortez in the 72nd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Manuel Cortez notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of C.D.Boavista's Pedro Aguiar. Pedro Aguiar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Paulo Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Bento Guerreiro came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the C.D.Boavista fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bento Guerreiro couldn't finish the play. Pedro Aguiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higino Caiado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
