An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Freitas in the 7th minute of play forced Filhos Brandão F.C.'s goalkeeper Máximo Eanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Filhos Brandão F.C. getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Gonçalo Peixoto hit a great ball. Luís Abrantes scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Máximo Eanes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Celso Carmona was a little too slow when Tomás Valente got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 1-1. Celso Carmona didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomás Valente went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 28th match minute, Anabolik Monkeys United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestre Ferro to maneuver through the defense. If Hélder Portugal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anabolik Monkeys United's Celso Carmona proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Anabolik Monkeys United from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd match minute, Filhos Brandão F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilson Eiró to maneuver through the defense. If Wilson Eiró had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilson Eiró made a kick off. When Luís Abrantes came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Anabolik Monkeys United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Abrantes couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Alípio Anjos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anabolik Monkeys United's supporters rose to their feet, but Alípio Anjos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Máximo Eanes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Máximo Eanes was a little too slow when Luís Abrantes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 2-2. Alípio Anjos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eliseu Eiró's late challenge caught a Filhos Brandão F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliseu Eiró helped the player get up and apologised. Eliseu Eiró hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the game, Filhos Brandão F.C.'s Wilson Eiró nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celso Carmona made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Jesualdo Figueira kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Anabolik Monkeys United's Celso Carmona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilson Eiró in the 84th minute of play. Alípio Anjos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Máximo Eanes made a huge save. 90 minutes into the match, Anabolik Monkeys United's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Valente came free, but Celso Carmona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
