Genizio's Patrício Fidalgo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Genizio from getting a goal against them. 4 minutes into the match, Genizio's goal looked a bit too open when Jerónimo Nascimento came free, but Patrício Fidalgo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseu Calçada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Edgar Laureano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Isidoro Fidalgo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute, Lokomotiva- Axantrazada's Jerónimo Nascimento ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Patrício Fidalgo. Patrício Fidalgo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 22 minutes into the match, Lokomotiva- Axantrazada's goal looked a bit too open when Fábio Calçada came free, but Edgar Laureano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jerónimo Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrício Fidalgo having to interfere. After 30 minutes, Nicolas Leitão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lokomotiva- Axantrazada and the Genizio players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nicolas Leitão kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Eliseu Calçada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Laureano having to interfere. After 37 minutes, Duarte Vilaça mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Genizio and the Lokomotiva- Axantrazada players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Genizio getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Duarte Vilaça hit a great ball. In the 39th minute Duarte Vilaça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Laureano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vítor Bentes to make the kick off. Lokomotiva- Axantrazada's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Eliseu Calçada scored to the left of an out of position Edgar Laureano, making the score, 1-1. Angelo Espinosa lost his temper 59 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Hermenegildo Velasques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Laureano having to interfere. Patrício Fidalgo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerónimo Nascimento in the 71st minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Jerónimo Nascimento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patrício Fidalgo. Genizio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jerónimo Nascimento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor Bentes in the 77th minute of play forced Genizio's goalkeeper Patrício Fidalgo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute Jerónimo Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrício Fidalgo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Genizio's zone, Jerónimo Nascimento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrício Fidalgo came out of the goal and Jerónimo Nascimento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 83 minutes into the match, Genizio's Fábio Calçada sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgar Laureano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Lokomotiva- Axantrazada's Edgar Laureano got control of the ball when Belchior Valido tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 87 minutes, André Freire managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Genizio's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Freire was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 91st minute Isidoro Fidalgo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrício Fidalgo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrício Fidalgo came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Lokomotiva- Axantrazada's Jerónimo Nascimento. But to his dismay, Jerónimo Nascimento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. A collision led to Genizio getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Belchior Valido hit a great ball. Lokomotiva- Axantrazada's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
