When Lokomotiva- Axantrazada's Vítor Bentes, in the 3rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Lokomotiva- Axantrazada. After a rather tough play, O Savle CAD's Amável Tinoco got a free kick in the 6th minute. With a little luck, O Savle CAD's Cássio Miranda got control of the ball when Vítor Bentes tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Mariano Estrela managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lokomotiva- Axantrazada's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Estrela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cássio Miranda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th minute, Celso Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 18 played minutes Lokomotiva- Axantrazada got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Estrela. After 20 played minutes O Savle CAD got a freekick which was hit by Amável Tinoco. A collision led to O Savle CAD getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Alípio Rios hit a great ball. Evandro Torres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isidoro Fidalgo's late challenge caught a O Savle CAD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidoro Fidalgo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Lokomotiva- Axantrazada getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Isidoro Fidalgo hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vítor Bentes during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th minute, Vítor Bentes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lokomotiva- Axantrazada's Mariano Estrela got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 45 minutes into the match, O Savle CAD's Amável Tinoco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgar Laureano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vítor Bentes to make the kick off. The throw-in from Bruno Poças in the 53rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by O Savle CAD's Amável Tinoco. Cássio Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Leitão in the 55th minute of the match. When Lokomotiva- Axantrazada's Mariano Estrela in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye O Savle CAD's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, O Savle CAD's Alípio Rios got a free kick in the 57th minute. Vítor Bentes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Cássio Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute, O Savle CAD's Raul Chagas seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Raul Chagas the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of O Savle CAD protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Raul Chagas had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 74 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for O Savle CAD! Cássio Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vítor Bentes in the 82nd minute of the match. Cássio Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Estrela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Lokomotiva- Axantrazada were the better team. Lokomotiva- Axantrazada's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
