Spectators: 6773 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rui Amaral started the match with the kick off. In the 4thth minute of the game Gonçalo Ferro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lanhas FC's Rodrigo Dantas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 4 minutes, Humberto Nascimento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lanhas FC and the Alcains Geneve players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lanhas FC's Humberto Nascimento got a free kick in the 4th minute. When Eusébio Camargo came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Alcains Geneve fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusébio Camargo couldn't finish the play. In the 7th minute, Gonçalo Ferro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodrigo Dantas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Lanhas FC's zone, Gonçalo Ferro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Dantas came out of the goal and Gonçalo Ferro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodrigo Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastián Riquelme in the 13th minute of play. Lanhas FC's Rui Amaral got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute David Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodrigo Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonçalo Ferro in the 16th minute of play. After 40 minutes, Rui Amaral made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Alcains Geneve's Vivaldo Igrejas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lanhas FC's Rodrigo Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo Ferro in the 43rd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Lanhas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gonçalo Ferro came free, but Rodrigo Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lanhas FC's Rodrigo Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Leite in the 47th minute of play. In the 48th minute Gonçalo Ferro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Lanhas FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Alcains Geneve were winning 2-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gonçalo Ferro was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Lanhas FC's Manuel Vaz got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Lanhas FC's Rodrigo Dantas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Lanhas FC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonçalo Ferro in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodrigo Dantas saved Lanhas FC from getting behind. Cristiano Santarém fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vivaldo Igrejas having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Alcains Geneve's Gonçalo Ferro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rodrigo Dantas. Rodrigo Dantas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. Rodrigo Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Leite in the 85th minute of play. Gonçalo Ferro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Rodrigo Dantas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Alcains Geneve's Gonçalo Ferro got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd minute of the match, David Leite tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rodrigo Dantas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Alcains Geneve's Gonçalo Ferro got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over Alcains Geneve could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lanhas FC throughout the match.
