If Benedito Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Teodoro Correia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joaquim Gueifão. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, CristeloCovoBoys's goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Cunha came free, but Sebastião Moniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Quiqas F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vicente Saraiva in the 17th minute. The corner ended in Elias Lustosa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but CristeloCovoBoys's Sebastião Moniz did a great save. Rafael Fragoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Gueifão having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Januário Nogueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Teodoro Correia took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Joaquim Gueifão to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to CristeloCovoBoys getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Teodoro Correia hit a great ball. Benedito Silva struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Sebastião Moniz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quiqas F.C. 33 minutes into the match, CristeloCovoBoys's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Hansson came free, but Sebastião Moniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benedito Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joaquim Gueifão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodoro Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 played minutes Quiqas F.C got a freekick which was hit by Ardenko Planovšek. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Quiqas F.C's Iván Luis Zamorano managed to work through CristeloCovoBoys's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Iván Luis Zamorano dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. A collision led to CristeloCovoBoys getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Benedito Travassos hit a great ball. In the 65th minute Benedito Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Moniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aquilino Cunha's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sebastião Moniz firmly grabbed it by the left post. Teodoro Correia took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquim Gueifão. Joaquim Gueifão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by CristeloCovoBoys's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vicente Saraiva was slow to take the kick. During this time Quiqas F.C's players had a chance to rest. CristeloCovoBoys's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
