ADCR Loreto United FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vicente Vides was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cesário Abrantes in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Leite prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30th play minute Cesário Abrantes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Paulo Leite. 5-0. Arthur Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Paulo Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, ADCR Loreto United FC's Arthur Maia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo Leite made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Salvador Mafra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Paulo Leite made a huge save. Paulo Leite breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Rui Gueifão made the kick off in the second half.
