In the 6th match minute, Red FOX United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Israel Lisboa to maneuver through the defense. SC Moliana's Wilson Alves got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valentim Aleixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Nicolau Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anselmo Lobo kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Silvano lago was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 18th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Nicolau Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentim Aleixo in the 20th minute of the match. In the 20th match minute, SC Moliana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Lobo to maneuver through the defense. Silvano lago took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nicolau Borges. SC Moliana's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Amável Diegues struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Sidónio Calheiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Moliana. In the 28th minute Amável Diegues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidónio Calheiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Moliana's Wilson Alves got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Red FOX United getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Israel Lisboa hit a great ball. Amável Diegues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Amável Diegues came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the SC Moliana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amável Diegues couldn't finish the play. Wilson Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilson Alves who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Sidónio Calheiros when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valentim Aleixo was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Wilson Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidónio Calheiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Wilson Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Red FOX United's goalkeeper Sidónio Calheiros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of SC Moliana booed when Red FOX United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvano lago didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute of the match Nivaldo Balsemão shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sidónio Calheiros showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Israel Lisboa fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Red FOX United's protests and gave Israel Lisboa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th minute, Israel Lisboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Moliana's Nivaldo Balsemão couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 69th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Red FOX United. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amável Diegues in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sidónio Calheiros saved Red FOX United from getting behind. 72 minutes into the game, Francisco Paixão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Red FOX United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Moliana the free kick. In the 75th minute Amável Diegues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidónio Calheiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sidónio Calheiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Alves in the 76th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the game, SC Moliana's Amável Diegues nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sidónio Calheiros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Red FOX United's Silvano lago got a free kick in the 87th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Red FOX United's zone, Salvador Jordão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sidónio Calheiros came out of the goal and Salvador Jordão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SC Moliana walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
