The goalkeeper, Rodolfo Castilho, was totally fooled by Stronkmynine CC's Ippolit Kuzbozhev, who 15 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Rui Poças managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stronkmynine CC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rui Poças was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodolfo Castilho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 21 minutes into the game, Carlos Cruz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chão Duro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stronkmynine CC the free kick. In the 25th minute Alcides Saraiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amável Caldas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodolfo Castilho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarbas Frois in the 26th minute of play. Rui Bessa hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Stronkmynine CC's zone, Alcides Saraiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amável Caldas came out of the goal and Alcides Saraiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jarbas Frois recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Chão Duro FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Sidónio Marques hit a great ball. Stronkmynine CC's Amável Caldas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alcides Saraiva in the 42nd minute of play. Pawel Lipinski kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Alcides Saraiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amável Caldas having to interfere. Joaquim Vasques lost his temper 47 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Stronkmynine CC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Alcides Saraiva made the kick off in the second half. Rodolfo Castilho didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Stronkmynine CC's Jarbas Frois shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. If Jarbas Frois had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 87 minutes of play, Stronkmynine CC's Jarbas Frois made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodolfo Castilho was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 94th minute, Jarbas Frois ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodolfo Castilho was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. After a defensive mix-up in Stronkmynine CC's zone, Edgar Martins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amável Caldas came out of the goal and Edgar Martins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Stronkmynine CC had won after a very even match.
