Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Paulo Laureano made the kick off which started today's match. Sálvio Braga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Laureano in the 11th minute of play. Mauro Antunes kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Futebol Clube Belem's Sálvio Braga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Laureano in the 14th minute of play. Sálvio Braga made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Vasco Lopes sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Sapos FC's Tarcísio Gentil got a free kick in the 17th minute. Paulo Laureano's late challenge caught a Futebol Clube Belem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulo Laureano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st minute, Paulo Laureano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the match, Mauro Antunes notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Sapos FC's Rui Mota. Rui Mota was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Futebol Clube Belem's zone, Vasco Lopes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sálvio Braga came out of the goal and Vasco Lopes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Marcus Wendel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 30th minute, Marcus Wendel made a precise shot to the right of Rui Mota. Sapos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Marcus Wendel took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rui Mota. Rui Mota dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcus Wendel in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rui Mota saved Sapos FC from getting behind. A collision led to Futebol Clube Belem getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Diogo Almeida hit a great ball. Futebol Clube Belem's Sálvio Braga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Laureano in the 45th minute of play. Paulo Laureano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Sálvio Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 53rd minute, Normando Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcus Wendel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Rui Mota skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With his leg Rui Mota managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Futebol Clube Belem's Marcus Wendel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sálvio Dias charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sálvio Dias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sálvio Dias hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Futebol Clube Belem's Marcus Wendel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rui Mota. That made the score 0-6 after 69 minutes of play. After 73 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sapos FC! The goalkeeper, Rui Mota, was totally fooled by Futebol Clube Belem's Marcus Wendel, who 74 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Marcus Wendel was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 79th minute. Futebol Clube Belem's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 80 minutes into the game, Mauro Antunes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Futebol Clube Belem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sapos FC the free kick. After 80 played minutes Futebol Clube Belem got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Antunes. Virgílio Fontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcus Wendel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Futebol Clube Belem's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
