After a rather tough play, Bespeira FC's Laurentino Barcelos got a free kick in the 5th minute. 7 minutes into the game, Bespeira FC's Vivaldo Seixas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filinto Paixão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. But to his dismay, Gerald Dilling quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-6.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexandre Candeias made a kick off. SC Valenciano's Filinto Paixão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save SC Valenciano from getting a goal against them. Gerald Dilling succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-7 in the 54th playminute. The supporters of SC Valenciano booed when Bespeira FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leal Amado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacob Teves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Filinto Paixão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henrique Horta was slow to take the kick. During this time Bespeira FC's players had a chance to rest. 86 minutes into the match, Laurentino Barcelos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filinto Paixão. SC Valenciano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Laurentino Barcelos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-10. In the 91st minute, Gerald Dilling ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filinto Paixão was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-11. In the 96th minute, Gerald Dilling got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bespeira FC played a much better game than SC Valenciano and deserved their victory. The SC Valenciano players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
