Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Miguel Figueiras made the kick off which started today's match. Albertino Bernardes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 8th minute, Gualter Casado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel Figueiras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Águas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Israel Moutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Ldf's José Águas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Maciel in the 13th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Miguel Figueiras made a precise shot to the right of Gonçalo Rego. Corsários do Farol's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Caetano Palhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Óscar Regueira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Corsários do Farol fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Gonçalo Rego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Figueiras, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Corsários do Farol's Gonçalo Rego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Figueiras in the 32nd minute of play. José Águas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Moutinho in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute, José Maciel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gonçalo Rego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonçalo Bettencourt in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute SC Ldf were awarded a corner. Miguel Figueiras went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Miguel Figueiras got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gonçalo Rego quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Gonçalo Bettencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute Miguel Figueiras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonçalo Rego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Corsários do Farol booed when SC Ldf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo Bettencourt didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tiago Macieira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Albertino Bernardes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 56 minutes, Caetano Palhares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Ldf and the Corsários do Farol players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Miguel Figueiras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonçalo Rego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertino Bernardes in the 62nd minute of play. Gonçalo Rego made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Gonçalo Bettencourt sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Óscar Regueira in the 65th minute of play forced SC Ldf's goalkeeper José Águas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonçalo Rego was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Caetano Palhares. SC Ldf's Albertino Bernardes got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Caetano Palhares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 80 played minutes Corsários do Farol got a freekick which was hit by Gualter Casado. In the 82nd play minute Gonçalo Bettencourt came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gonçalo Rego. 1-2. Gonçalo Bettencourt scored 1-3 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gonçalo Rego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 92nd minute, Fernando Valadares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiago Macieira took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Águas. José Águas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Israel Moutinho in the 96th minute of play forced SC Ldf's goalkeeper José Águas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The SC Ldf players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
