The crowd rose to their feet as Alfredo Trigueiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Israel Vidal. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. If Severiano Lobato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 19th minute, Yuri Eiró left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BRILLIANT COMMANDER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Israel Vidal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Trigueiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. BRILLIANT COMMANDER's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Dércio Macieira scored to the left of an out of position Israel Vidal, making the score, 2-1. Israel Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Trigueiro in the 31st minute of play. Murilo Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Israel Vidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dércio Macieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Clube Aveiro's zone, Yuri Eiró stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabrício Palhares came out of the goal and Yuri Eiró tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the match, BRILLIANT COMMANDER's goal looked a bit too open when Murilo Soares came free, but Israel Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Israel Vidal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Trigueiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The Sporting Clube Aveiro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. 96 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube Aveiro's goalkeeper Fabrício Palhares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yuri Eiró. Sporting Clube Aveiro walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
