AKXE MADUREIRA's Mariano Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basarab Floreanu in the 3rd minute of play. Mariano Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Soares in the 5th minute of play. Uno Almkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. If Narciso Vianna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute Narciso Vianna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute, Basarab Floreanu made a precise shot to the right of Mariano Esteves. AKXE MADUREIRA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Mariano Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Soares in the 19th minute of the match. Henrique Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Campelo having to interfere. Nuno Soares scored 0-3 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mariano Esteves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 30th minute Narciso Vianna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Nuno Soares made a precise shot to the right of Mariano Esteves. AKXE MADUREIRA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Matias Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Coulter in the 38th minute of play forced AKXE MADUREIRA's goalkeeper Mariano Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Coulter took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mariano Esteves. Mariano Esteves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. After 44 played minutes F.C. Valinor got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Soares. 48 minutes into the match, AKXE MADUREIRA's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Vianna came free, but Mariano Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Henrique Fonseca made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nuno Soares during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 52nd minute, Nuno Soares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute, Aldo Coelho sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and F.C. Valinor's Joaquim Campelo didn't even have to move. AKXE MADUREIRA's Mariano Esteves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save AKXE MADUREIRA from getting a goal against them. Mariano Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Soares in the 60th minute of play. AKXE MADUREIRA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Felipe Coulter scored to the left of an out of position Mariano Esteves, making the score, 0-6. Mariano Esteves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Narciso Vianna in the 70th minute. In the 73rd minute Henrique Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Campelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maxi Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute Normando Vilas Boas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrique Fonseca hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute, Felipe Coulter fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mariano Esteves, passed just outside the right post. 80 minutes into the match, AKXE MADUREIRA's goalkeeper Mariano Esteves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Narciso Vianna. In the 81st minute, Felipe Coulter made a precise shot to the right of Mariano Esteves. AKXE MADUREIRA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. The crowd rose to their feet as F.C. Valinor's Nuno Soares slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mariano Esteves. That made the score 0-8 after 84 minutes of play. After having played for 89 minutes, Frederico Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. Valinor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frederico Carvalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th minute, Narciso Vianna reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mariano Esteves. The goal made the score 0-9. Nuno Soares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Mariano Esteves made a huge save. F.C. Valinor played a much better game than AKXE MADUREIRA and deserved their victory. The AKXE MADUREIRA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
