The audience was convinced that Carlos Meireles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Alcântara was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Pedro Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Meireles in the 15th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Erubiel Chorche managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Angrense's supporters rose to their feet, but Erubiel Chorche was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Alcântara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Augusto Abreu kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. SC Angrense's Teobaldo Artizar was substituted for Carlos Meireles. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 35th minute of the game. One of DRAGOES FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Angrense:s goal. The referee gave SC Angrense a penalty, 38 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tzeko Kotlarski, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of DRAGOES FC's Pedro Alcântara. 0-4. Pedro Alcântara didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when SC Angrense's Teobaldo Artizar shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-5 in the ordered_time% minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teobaldo Artizar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. SC Angrense's Honorato Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herberto Lages in the 60th minute of play. After having played for 70 minutes, Teobaldo Artizar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Angrense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teobaldo Artizar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SC Angrense's Teobaldo Artizar got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Erubiel Chorche reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pedro Alcântara. The goal made the score 0-8. 77 minutes into the game, Emanuel Burtea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Angrense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DRAGOES FC the free kick. After 77 played minutes SC Angrense got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Burtea. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tarcísio Rebelo in the 80th minute of play forced SC Angrense's goalkeeper Honorato Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Teobaldo Artizar came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the SC Angrense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teobaldo Artizar couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teobaldo Artizar got free with Pedro Alcântara in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Artizar in the 91st minute of play forced DRAGOES FC's goalkeeper Pedro Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The DRAGOES FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SC Angrense were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
