Afonso Santiago hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the match, Igor Balsemão dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Carlos Peseiro, 2-0. 15 minutes into the game, Igor Balsemão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Sopegal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Luso FC the free kick. Igor Balsemão kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Donato Fiúza who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Carlos Peseiro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 21st minute, Adão Campos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience cheered when Donato Fiúza's long shot passed Carlos Peseiro's right side. It was 3-0, 21 minutes into the match. After 25 played minutes Luso FC got a freekick which was hit by Adão Campos. In the 25th minute, Donato Fiúza sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Luso FC's Carlos Peseiro didn't even have to move. 28 minutes into the match, Luso FC's goalkeeper Carlos Peseiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donato Fiúza. Luso FC's Carlos Peseiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Balsemão in the 29th minute of play. Carlos Peseiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristóvão Zarco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Jerónimo Durães dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Carlos Peseiro, 5-0. After 38 played minutes Luso FC got a freekick which was hit by Hélder Fontes. Bruno Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adão Leite having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bruno Costa was the one to do the kick off. Jerónimo Durães took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Peseiro. Carlos Peseiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. 60 minutes into the match, Cristóvão Zarco notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Luso FC's Carlos Peseiro. Carlos Peseiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Costa got free with Adão Leite in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Isac Guarda came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Adão Leite could save by the left post. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC Sopegal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Isac Guarda was slow to take the kick. During this time Luso FC's players had a chance to rest. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Igor Balsemão sped through Luso FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carlos Peseiro. In the 93rd minute Bruno Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adão Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SC Sopegal had played much better football throughout.
