The Alvogas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Almiro Caneira should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eric Löfgren got free with Almiro Caneira in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 22 minutes into the match, Alvogas's goal looked a bit too open when Angélico Castelo Branco came free, but Almiro Caneira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jairo Saraiva hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the game, Edvin Trulsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Almiro Caneira. Edvin Trulsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alvogas's goalkeeper Almiro Caneira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. LINHAGEM FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edvin Trulsson in the 35th minute. Edvin Trulsson made a great header on LINHAGEM FC's corner, it was just that Alvogas's Almiro Caneira managed to reach the ball for a save. Almiro Caneira was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Chumo Resines capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Chumo Resines really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. The referee gave Aristides Borba a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of LINHAGEM FC booed when Alvogas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristides Borba didn't get a good kick on the ball.

In the 52nd minute, Eric Löfgren made a precise shot to the right of Almiro Caneira. Alvogas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Chumo Resines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edvin Trulsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th minute, Eric Löfgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Almiro Caneira was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Eric Löfgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Almiro Caneira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Eric Löfgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Almiro Caneira was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. When LINHAGEM FC's Eric Löfgren in 94 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Almiro Caneira guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Alvogas's Almiro Caneira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Löfgren in the 96th minute of play.
