The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alcino Granja made an important save on a dangerous shot by Walery Hoffman in the 3rd minute. António Pimenta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Ramos in the 4th minute of the match. Borlas's Alcino Granja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walery Hoffman in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Micael França hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute Cláudio Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Pimenta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cláudio Aveiro hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Serafim Baldaia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. António Pimenta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. António Pimenta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Espírito Santo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Serafim Baldaia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. António Pimenta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cláudio Domingues in the 19th minute of play. ChicanaFC's António Pimenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cláudio Domingues in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, ChicanaFC's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Ramos came free, but António Pimenta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ChicanaFC's António Pimenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cláudio Domingues in the 34th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Walery Hoffman got free with Alcino Granja in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. António Pimenta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Espírito Santo in the 39th minute of the match. António Pimenta came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Borlas's Augusto Ramos. But to his dismay, Augusto Ramos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. António Pimenta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cláudio Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Borlas's Alcino Granja proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Borlas from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Borlas's Cláudio Domingues got a free kick in the 46th minute. The ChicanaFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Borlas were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Walery Hoffman made the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Pedro Paiva made a precise shot to the right of Alcino Granja. Borlas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 62nd minute, Borlas's Jorge Espírito Santo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Alcino Granja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alcino Granja stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Paiva's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Sidónio Assunção could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but António Pimenta made a huge save. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Cláudio Domingues sped through ChicanaFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of António Pimenta. ChicanaFC's Rui Graça was substituted for Gervásio Valentim. After 79 played minutes ChicanaFC got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Portugal. ChicanaFC's Heitor Fonseca was substituted for Pedro Paiva. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto Ramos got free with António Pimenta in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ChicanaFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Cláudio Domingues scored to the left of an out of position António Pimenta, making the score, 1-4. When the final whistle sounded Borlas left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ChicanaFC.
