In the 5th minute of the match, Pedro Paiva got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alex Gueifão was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Sport Clube Lusitania's Domingos Candeias got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 8th minute Micael França saw that he had a good position to shoot and he shot a long ball on target, but the ball went just outside the left post. Walery Hoffman came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alex Gueifão could save by the left post. Thanks to some nice moves Walery Hoffman could shoot a difficult shot in the 14th minute, which Alex Gueifão however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, ChicanaFC's Pedro Paiva got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute, Pedro Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sport Clube Lusitania's goalkeeper Alex Gueifão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alex Gueifão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walery Hoffman in the 19th minute of play. ChicanaFC's Micael França managed to work through Sport Clube Lusitania's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Micael França dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 25 minutes into the match, ChicanaFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mateus Sacadura came free, but António Pimenta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Micael França had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the game, Walery Hoffman lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Alex Gueifão. Walery Hoffman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Alex Gueifão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alex Gueifão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Walery Hoffman's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Alex Gueifão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walery Hoffman, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After some careless play in the Sport Clube Lusitania defense, Walery Hoffman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alex Gueifão. The Sport Clube Lusitania fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alex Gueifão should have stopped the shot. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristiano Pinhal was the one to do the kick off. Alex Gueifão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walery Hoffman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Micael França charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Micael França the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alex Gueifão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walery Hoffman in the 58th minute of play. After some careless play in the Sport Clube Lusitania defense, Cláudio Aveiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alex Gueifão. The Sport Clube Lusitania fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alex Gueifão should have stopped the shot. 63 minutes into the match, Sport Clube Lusitania's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Paiva came free, but Alex Gueifão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When ChicanaFC's Walery Hoffman in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 72nd minute, Walery Hoffman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ChicanaFC's Rui Graça was substituted for Gervásio Valentim. 76 minutes into the match, Walery Hoffman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alex Gueifão. Sport Clube Lusitania's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Walery Hoffman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Walery Hoffman managed to get in a good position for a shot. ChicanaFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Walery Hoffman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alex Gueifão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When ChicanaFC's Heitor Fonseca in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Sport Clube Lusitania's Alex Gueifão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walery Hoffman in the 86th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateus Sacadura got free with António Pimenta in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Domingos Candeias hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Heitor Fonseca might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alex Gueifão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Heitor Fonseca ran back to his position shaking his head. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ChicanaFC had played much better football throughout.
