In the 4th match minute, Futebol Espinhel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Germano Borba to maneuver through the defense. Celso Vasconcelos made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Silvano Quintela sent off a good shot on target. Germano Borba might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Colaço. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Germano Borba ran back to his position shaking his head. Ricardo Colaço showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Rocha in the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the game, Beto La Forest recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Celso Vasconcelos. Beto La Forest showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 20 minutes into the match, Futebol Espinhel's goalkeeper Celso Vasconcelos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Josué Cunha. SC Aveleda's Ricardo Colaço played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radoslaw Zukowski in the 23rd minute of play. When Hermes Coutinho came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Futebol Espinhel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermes Coutinho couldn't finish the play. Ricardo Colaço made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radoslaw Zukowski in the 28th minute of play. Radoslaw Zukowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celso Vasconcelos made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Beto La Forest sent off a good shot on target. David Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Colaço having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Radoslaw Zukowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ricardo Colaço was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Beto La Forest was the one to do the kick off. Celso Vasconcelos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvano Quintela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celso Vasconcelos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josué Cunha in the 54th minute of the match. Futebol Espinhel's Humberto Velasques suffered a concussion in the 56th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Futebol Espinhel made a substitution. Avelino Tomé replaced Humberto Velasques. Avelino Tomé in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ricardo Colaço, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 71st minute, Radoslaw Zukowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Colaço was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. If Radoslaw Zukowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes in the game, David Rocha fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ricardo Colaço having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Radoslaw Zukowski got free with Ricardo Colaço in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 87 played minutes SC Aveleda got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Guterres. Avelino Tomé received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ricardo Colaço tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Borges was shown his second yellow card after 92 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Ricardo Colaço had in the 94thth minute some difficulties stopping Armindo Pegado's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.
