The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Josué Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of SC Aveleda booed when Panteras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Beto La Forest sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the game, Beto La Forest cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Christoffer Grinden was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 22 minutes into the game, SC Aveleda's Beto La Forest nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christoffer Grinden made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 25 minutes into the match, Panteras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Beto La Forest came free, but Christoffer Grinden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Silvano Quintela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christoffer Grinden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beto La Forest, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Christoffer Grinden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beto La Forest in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to Panteras FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Manuel Ugarte hit a great ball. Batista Batistuta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Ricardo Colaço made a huge save. 35 minutes into the match, Beto La Forest had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christoffer Grinden. Panteras FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Beto La Forest was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Pedro Lobato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the match, Panteras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Beto La Forest came free, but Christoffer Grinden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute Batista Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Colaço saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Batista Batistuta notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of SC Aveleda's Ricardo Colaço. Ricardo Colaço was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Panteras FC's Christoffer Grinden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beto La Forest in the 91st minute of play. After 94 played minutes, SC Aveleda's Evandro Monteiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Christoffer Grinden came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Aveleda reached it.
