Scarrone FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IOL the free kick. After 3 played minutes Scarrone FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Manso. In the 6th minute Romão Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Sampaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Scarrone FC's goal looked a bit too open when Celso Sobral came free, but Nuno Sampaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexandrino Tomé scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nuno Sampaio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When IOL's Celso Sobral in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Scarrone FC's goalie prevented a goal. Scarrone FC's Nuno Sampaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Sobral in the 12th minute of play. Romão Neves took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nuno Sampaio. Nuno Sampaio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 17th minute Celso Sobral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Sampaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nuno Sampaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Sobral, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute, Romão Neves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nuno Sampaio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Celso Sobral struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Nuno Sampaio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IOL. Nuno Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zachary Paraszczuk in the 29th minute of the match. After 30 minutes of play, IOL's Romão Neves made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nuno Sampaio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nuno Sampaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Sobral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, IOL's Alexandrino Tomé sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nuno Sampaio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Augusto Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. IOL's supporters rose to their feet, but Augusto Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuno Sampaio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. IOL's Alexandrino Tomé got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Scarrone FC defense, Alexandrino Tomé kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nuno Sampaio. The Scarrone FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nuno Sampaio should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The wind increased when Carlos Manso made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zachary Paraszczuk in the 56th minute of play forced Scarrone FC's goalkeeper Nuno Sampaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Zachary Paraszczuk dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nuno Sampaio, 0-8. A collision led to IOL getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Celso Sobral hit a great ball. Sabino Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Manso in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Carlos Manso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabino Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celso Sobral didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-9 via right post in the game's 63rd minute. IOL's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Celso Sobral kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Nuno Sampaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Sobral in the 68th minute of play. During the 68th minute of the match Carlos Manso completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Carlos Manso a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Scarrone FC's Carlos Manso got a free kick in the 69th minute. Sabino Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juvenal Ruas in the 91st minute of play. Scarrone FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Celso Sobral 93 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-11. The Scarrone FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. IOL were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
