Spectators: 8160 (Terracing: 6121, Seating: 1877, VIP seats: 162) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Augusto Portugal got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Augusto Portugal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sabino Marques. Augusto Portugal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Sabino Marques made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Reginaldo Moutinho sent off a good shot on target. In the 8th minute, Lusos Crew's Reginaldo Moutinho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Sabino Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Portugal, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After 16 minutes, Domingos Bentes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the IOL and the Lusos Crew players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in IOL fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! In the 17th minute, Lusos Crew got a penalty, and Augusto Portugal placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. IOL's Sabino Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Portugal in the 19th minute of play. In the 24th minute of the match, Augusto Portugal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sabino Marques saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 26th minute, Alexandrino Tomé got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29thth minute of the game Celso Sobral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lusos Crew's Marco Bülow was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Amável Henriques hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 51st minute of the match Celso Sobral shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marco Bülow showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sabino Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reginaldo Moutinho in the 53rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Estevão Padilha put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sabino Marques. In the 62nd minute, Augusto Portugal made a precise shot to the right of Sabino Marques. IOL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 66th minute Augusto Portugal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabino Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 69th minute of the game. One of Lusos Crew:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of IOL:s goal. Lusos Crew:s Marco Bülow showed great skill when he stopped Celso Sobral:s penalty. Romão Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Marco Bülow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute Augusto Portugal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabino Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the IOL defense, Reginaldo Moutinho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sabino Marques. The IOL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sabino Marques should have stopped the shot. IOL's Sabino Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Portugal in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd match minute, Lusos Crew was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amável Henriques to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes in the game, Augusto Portugal dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After 88 played minutes Lusos Crew got a freekick which was hit by Estevão Padilha. Marco Bülow made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Celso Sobral sent off a good shot on target. Marco Bülow made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zachary Paraszczuk in the 94th minute of play. After 96 minutes Lusos Crew's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Celso Sobral who took care of the corner kick. The corner led IOL's Alexandrino Tomé to fire away a dangerous shot which Marco Bülow despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
