Spectators: 8099 (Terracing: 6076, Seating: 1862, VIP seats: 161) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Batista Batistuta kicked off to start the match. After 2 played minutes Panteras FC got a freekick which was hit by Per-Erik Hamnberg. Cacá Vargas kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Humberto Velasques got free with Christoffer Grinden in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Rocha in the 9th minute of play forced Panteras FC's goalkeeper Christoffer Grinden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute of the match, Humberto Velasques got a very nice opportunity to score, but Christoffer Grinden was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Humberto Velasques came free with the goalkeeper in the 10th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Christoffer Grinden could save by the left post. Christoffer Grinden made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Humberto Velasques sent off a good shot on target. 13 minutes into the game, Futebol Espinhel's Humberto Velasques nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christoffer Grinden made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 16th minute, Humberto Velasques left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Futebol Espinhel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Rocha in the 20th minute of play forced Panteras FC's goalkeeper Christoffer Grinden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Futebol Espinhel's goal looked a bit too open when Batista Batistuta came free, but Celso Vasconcelos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Futebol Espinhel defense, Per-Erik Hamnberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celso Vasconcelos. The Futebol Espinhel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celso Vasconcelos should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adalberto Salgueiro in the 28th minute of play forced Futebol Espinhel's goalkeeper Celso Vasconcelos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Humberto Velasques had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christoffer Grinden. Panteras FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Humberto Velasques was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Germano Borba hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After 39 minutes of play, Futebol Espinhel's Humberto Velasques made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christoffer Grinden was left in no man's land by his defense there! The long shot by Armindo Pegado in the 42nd minute really tested Christoffer Grinden's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Celso Vasconcelos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Erik Hamnberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. With a little luck, Panteras FC's Christoffer Grinden got control of the ball when Radoslaw Zukowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. David Rocha might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christoffer Grinden. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. David Rocha ran back to his position shaking his head. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

In the 52nd match minute, Futebol Espinhel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Santana to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the match, Futebol Espinhel's goalkeeper Celso Vasconcelos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Batista Batistuta. David Rocha struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Christoffer Grinden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Futebol Espinhel. After having played for 62 minutes, Humberto Velasques managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Futebol Espinhel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Humberto Velasques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Futebol Espinhel's David Rocha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christoffer Grinden narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 74th minute, David Rocha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Futebol Espinhel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Rocha in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christoffer Grinden prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 78th minute Per-Erik Hamnberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Vasconcelos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85thth minute of the game David Rocha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panteras FC's Christoffer Grinden was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. David Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christoffer Grinden didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from David Rocha went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-1 was the resulting score. Christoffer Grinden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Velasques, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Futebol Espinhel's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
