Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lilko Albachki in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nuno Sampaio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lilko Albachki took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nuno Sampaio. Nuno Sampaio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Lilko Albachki scored 0-5 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nuno Sampaio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 32 minutes into the game, Albertino Gama cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Nuno Sampaio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nuno Sampaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albertino Gama, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Nuno Peixoto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Amarante FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. In the 40th minute Hélio Câmara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivo Moutinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Scarrone FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Amarante FC the free kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Amarante FC's Albertino Sequeira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nuno Sampaio. That made the score 0-11 after 97 minutes of play. When the match had gone on for 100 minutes, Albertino Sequeira took a quick shot and it went in 0-12 without a chance for Nuno Sampaio to make any attempt to save it.
