Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lilko Albachki took the kick off in the first half of the match. Amarante FC's Ivo Moutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Graciano Torcato in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute Valério Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivo Moutinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 played minutes SC Longasd got a freekick which was hit by Adelino Cortez. In the 10th minute, Albertino Gama left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Amarante FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ivo Moutinho came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Longasd's Artur Amado. But to his dismay, Artur Amado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The supporters of Amarante FC booed when SC Longasd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Porfírio Vilaça didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the SC Longasd defense, Albertino Gama kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osvaldo Raposo. The SC Longasd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osvaldo Raposo should have stopped the shot. 33 minutes into the match, SC Longasd's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Lemos came free, but Osvaldo Raposo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodrigo Lemos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Osvaldo Raposo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of SC Longasd booed when Amarante FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yuri Fraga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodrigo Lemos took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Osvaldo Raposo. Osvaldo Raposo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 45th minute, Joaquim Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Osvaldo Raposo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albertino Gama went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Valério Alcântara made the kick off in the second half. Lilko Albachki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Osvaldo Raposo made a huge save. SC Longasd's Miguel Quental suffered a concussion after 57 minutes and had to leave the field. When Rodrigo Lemos fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Amarante FC's protests and gave Rodrigo Lemos a yellow card for diving instead. Rodrigo Lemos hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albertino Gama got free with Osvaldo Raposo in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Graciano Torcato in the 77th minute of play forced Amarante FC's goalkeeper Ivo Moutinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valério Alcântara's late challenge caught a Amarante FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valério Alcântara helped the player get up and apologised. Valério Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. When Amarante FC's Nuno Peixoto in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
