The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celso Sobral to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Celso Sobral sped through €uros's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Plácido Corte-Real. After having played for 90 minutes, Kevin Varela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IOL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Varela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Plácido Corte-Real made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Celso Sobral sent off a good shot on target. In the 92nd minute, Noel Quintas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Plácido Corte-Real stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Celso Sobral's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. IOL played a much better game than €uros and deserved their victory. The €uros players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
