Ricardo Colaço took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Portugal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Estevão Padilhas short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Ricardo Colaço to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. SC Aveleda's Ricardo Colaço proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save SC Aveleda from getting a goal against them. Beto La Forest blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Bülow having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Lusos Crew's Amável Henriques got a free kick in the 11th minute. If Josué Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ricardo Colaço showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Portugal, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After some careless play in the Lusos Crew defense, Beto La Forest kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Bülow. The Lusos Crew fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Bülow should have stopped the shot. In the 19th minute of the match Lusos Crew got a corner. SC Aveleda's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Reginaldo Fiúza ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Lusos Crew's Reginaldo Fiúza to fire away a dangerous shot which Ricardo Colaço despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 21st minute of the match, Augusto Portugal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ricardo Colaço saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 25 played minutes SC Aveleda got a freekick which was hit by Josué Cunha. SC Aveleda's Ricardo Colaço proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save SC Aveleda from getting a goal against them. After 32 minutes, Cássio Falcão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Aveleda and the Lusos Crew players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Aveleda! SC Aveleda:s Ricardo Colaço showed great skill when he stopped Augusto Portugal:s penalty. Estevão Padilha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Lusos Crew getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Filipe Belém hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, Estevão Padilha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lusos Crew fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

After 52 played minutes SC Aveleda got a freekick which was hit by Evandro Monteiro. 55 minutes into the game, Estevão Padilha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Ricardo Colaço was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marco Bülow made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Beto La Forest sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Lusos Crew's Amável Henriques got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Josué Cunha shot from long distance after 63 played minutes, a shot that Marco Bülow with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvano Quintela got free with Marco Bülow in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 70 minutes into the match, Lusos Crew's Augusto Portugal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ricardo Colaço narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Estevão Padilha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Colaço was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Ricardo Colaço showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Portugal, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Ricardo Colaço made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Estevão Padilha in the 87th minute of play. Josué Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Marco Bülow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Reginaldo Moutinho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Colaço. SC Aveleda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reginaldo Moutinho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Josué Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Lusos Crew were the better team. Lusos Crew's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
