Nuno Sampaio came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by IOL's Celso Sobral. But to his dismay, Celso Sobral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Andi Möhle took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nuno Sampaio. Scarrone FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Romão Neves succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 7th playminute. Nuno Sampaio came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by IOL's Celso Sobral. But to his dismay, Celso Sobral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Zachary Paraszczuk scored 4-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nuno Sampaio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 20 minutes into the game, Celso Sobral recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nuno Sampaio. Celso Sobral showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Celso Sobral kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nuno Sampaio. That made the score 6-0 in the 23 minute of play. In the 25th minute, Alexandrino Tomé reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nuno Sampaio. The goal made the score 7-0. Nuno Sampaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zachary Paraszczuk, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Alexandrino Tomé took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nuno Sampaio. Nuno Sampaio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Sobral in the 31st minute of play forced Scarrone FC's goalkeeper Nuno Sampaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquim Mourão hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Scarrone FC's goalkeeper Nuno Sampaio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celso Sobral. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Nuno Sampaio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Sobral in the 43rd minute of play forced Scarrone FC's goalkeeper Nuno Sampaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celso Sobral's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Nuno Sampaio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Scarrone FC booed when IOL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandrino Tomé didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 9-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Manso was the one to do the kick off. Sabino Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Faria in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Alexandrino Tomé had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nuno Sampaio. Scarrone FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexandrino Tomé was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. The supporters of Scarrone FC booed when IOL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandrino Tomé didn't get a good kick on the ball. 67 minutes into the game, IOL's Celso Sobral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nuno Sampaio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0. Nuno Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romão Neves in the 71st minute of the match. When Augusto Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the IOL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Montenegro couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romão Neves in the 75th minute of play forced Scarrone FC's goalkeeper Nuno Sampaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nuno Sampaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Sobral, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 78th match minute, IOL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélio Ventura to maneuver through the defense. Sabino Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Manso in the 80th minute of the match. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by IOL's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Geraldo Sacadura was slow to take the kick. During this time Scarrone FC's players had a chance to rest. Zachary Paraszczuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nuno Sampaio came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by IOL's Alexandrino Tomé. But to his dismay, Alexandrino Tomé quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 14-0. In the 93rdth minute of the game Celso Sobral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Scarrone FC's Nuno Sampaio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 94th minute Alexandrino Tomé shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Sampaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Scarrone FC defense, Zachary Paraszczuk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nuno Sampaio. The Scarrone FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nuno Sampaio should have stopped the shot. IOL walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
