An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Amado in the 42nd minute of play forced Arneirosf's goalkeeper Alípio Laureano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Arneirosf's Daniel Diegues got a free kick in the 44th minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Alípio Laureano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. When the final whistle sounded SC Longasd left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Arneirosf.
