Faião 2024's Graciano Pereira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Faião 2024 from getting a goal against them. Mateus Belo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Graciano Pereira 35 minutes into the match. Mateus Belo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Graciano Pereira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Valdemar Henriques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Graciano Pereira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mateus Belo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cristóvão Lessa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Antoninhos do Condado getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Rogelio Kinsen hit a great ball. Dário Bentes's late challenge caught a Antoninhos do Condado's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
