Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when David De Boeck took the kick off in the first half of the match. Hipólito Amado scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vicente Madeira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 6th minute Ciccio Mascia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Madeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that David De Boeck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vicente Madeira was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. 12 minutes into the game, Beira Mar SC's Ciccio Mascia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vicente Madeira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 16th minute, Hipólito Amado made a precise shot to the right of Vicente Madeira. Odeleite F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Beira Mar SC's Sálvio Vilas Boas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Miranda in the 19th minute of play. Ciccio Mascia took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vicente Madeira. Vicente Madeira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. When Hipólito Amado came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Beira Mar SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hipólito Amado couldn't finish the play. Vicente Madeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hipólito Amado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute Joélson Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Madeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicente Madeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciccio Mascia in the 31st minute of the match. 34 minutes into the game, Beira Mar SC's Guilherme Viegas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vicente Madeira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. After 43 minutes of play, Beira Mar SC's David De Boeck made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vicente Madeira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mário Miranda was the one to do the kick off. Joélson Moreira struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Vicente Madeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beira Mar SC. After some careless play in the Odeleite F.C defense, Alexandre Torcato kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vicente Madeira. The Odeleite F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vicente Madeira should have stopped the shot. Vicente Madeira was a little too slow when Ciccio Mascia got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-9. If Aloísio Campos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alexandre Torcato could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Vicente Madeira made a huge save. Beira Mar SC's Graciano Medeiros was substituted for Alexandre Torcato. Ciccio Mascia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Vicente Madeira made a huge save. Vicente Madeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciccio Mascia, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Ciccio Mascias short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Vicente Madeira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 78th minute, Beira Mar SC's Joélson Moreira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vicente Madeira. Vicente Madeira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. In the 81st minute, Graciano Medeiros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vicente Madeira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11. David De Boeck scored 0-13 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vicente Madeira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vicente Madeira was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Hipólito Amado capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hipólito Amado really showed his touch with that goal: 0-14.
