Adalberto Sarmento ran back to his position shaking his head. Cândido Cortez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute, Roberto Carreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 32 played minutes FC Nação Portuguesa got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Vilalobos. Luís Lousada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cândido Cortez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Lousada prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39th match minute, Manhente FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adalberto Sarmento to maneuver through the defense. FC Nação Portuguesa's Luís Lousada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adalberto Sarmento in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute Vladimiro Infante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Fernendo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44thth minute of the game Vladimiro Infante who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manhente FC's Erasmo Fernendo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Manhente FC's Erasmo Fernendo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiro Infante in the 48th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cândido Cortez made a kick off. Luís Lousada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cândido Cortez in the 52nd minute of play. After taking down the ball on FC Nação Portuguesa's corner Vladimiro Infante fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Erasmo Fernendo quite easily take care of the ball. In the 61st minute Manhente FC were awarded a corner. Cândido Cortez went to the cornerflag to take it. Vladimiro Infante's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erasmo Fernendo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. A hard shot 71 in the game by Vladimiro Infante from a close distance when the talented Erasmo Fernendo managed to make a qualified save. Manhente FC's players were relieved. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nuno Sanches during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nuno Sanches hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Nação Portuguesa reached it. Vladimiro Infante who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Erasmo Fernendo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Julião Borba tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Erasmo Fernendo. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-3 in the 94th minute. Chants of FC Nação Portuguesa echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Manhente FC had held the ball for most of the match.
