AlmaLusa's Ervin Nyíri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save AlmaLusa from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Alberto Pimenta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ervin Nyíri. That made the score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. A throw-in in the 21st minute of the game was made by Karol Tylinski with Stalin Steckamp as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When Carlos Rios fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AlmaLusa's protests and gave Carlos Rios a yellow card for diving instead. Ervin Nyíri made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Miguel Moutinho sent off a good shot on target. Ervin Nyíri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tato Orihuela in the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stalin Steckamp in the 35th minute of play forced AlmaLusa's goalkeeper Ervin Nyíri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hieronim Brzonkala kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Carlos Rios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ervin Nyíri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tato Orihuela in the 43rd minute.

The wind increased when Carlos Rios made the kick off in the second half. Henrique Gois charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henrique Gois the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some careless play in the AlmaLusa defense, Stalin Steckamp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ervin Nyíri. The AlmaLusa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ervin Nyíri should have stopped the shot. AlmaLusa's Ervin Nyíri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stalin Steckamp in the 59th minute of play. Ervin Nyíri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tato Orihuela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rostislav Kyncl struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Saúl Zambujal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AlmaLusa. Ervin Nyíri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Moutinho in the 72nd minute of play. In the 82nd match minute, AlmaLusa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Borges to maneuver through the defense. Nestor Cresenciano came free in the 84th minute and tried to tip the ball over Ervin Nyíri, but to the joy of AlmaLusa's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. After 86 played minutes AlmaLusa got a freekick which was hit by Dimas Domingos. In the 89th minute, Alberto Pimenta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 91st minute Tato Orihuela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ervin Nyíri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ervin Nyíri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Pimenta in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd match minute, AlmaLusa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alin Fundătoreanu to maneuver through the defense.
