With a left leg Amado Lamego saved Lords from getting behind. Amado Lamego didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Israel Neto went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Israel Neto came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Amado Lamego could save by the left post. In the 13th minute, Israel Neto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amado Lamego was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. With a little luck, Lords's Amado Lamego got control of the ball when Israel Neto tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 17 minutes, Israel Neto made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Lords's Amado Lamego tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Laureano Veloso received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Amado Lamego came out and tried to block the shot, but Laureano Veloso slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 20th minute. The supporters of Ansião United booed when Lords was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Almiro Santana didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute Januário Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Lamego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Januário Viana kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Amado Lamego. That made the score 5-0 in the 29 minute of play. Amado Lamego was a little too slow when Laureano Veloso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 7-0. Amado Lamego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laureano Veloso in the 39th minute of the match. A collision led to Lords getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Nicolas Gaspar hit a great ball. Amado Lamego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulino Cabral in the 44th minute. Amado Lamego was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Laureano Veloso showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 9-0 in the 46 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 9-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
In the 53rd minute, Israel Neto made a precise shot to the right of Amado Lamego. Lords's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. 56 minutes into the game, Eduardo Estrada was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lords's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ansião United the free kick. In the 56th match minute, Lords was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Estrada to maneuver through the defense. Paulino Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Amado Lamego was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Almiro Santana fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lords's protests and gave Almiro Santana a yellow card for diving instead. After 65 played minutes Lords got a freekick which was hit by Almiro Santana. In the 68th minute, David Gusmão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aldaír Fonseca charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aldaír Fonseca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ansião United walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
