Gerd-Peter Meiswinkel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Rios in the 3rd minute. In the 6th minute Takeshi Schims shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ervin Nyíri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ervin Nyíri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Cunha in the 8th minute of the match. Takeshi Schims scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ervin Nyíri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nuno Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, AlmaLusa's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Valido came free, but Ervin Nyíri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Takeshi Schims cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ervin Nyíri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 32 minutes into the game, Takeshi Schims cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. The AlmaLusa players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Valadas were winning 0-6.

52 minutes into the game, Valadas's Nuno Cunha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ervin Nyíri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. AlmaLusa's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Takeshi Schims scored to the left of an out of position Ervin Nyíri, making the score, 0-9. After some careless play in the AlmaLusa defense, Nuno Cunha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ervin Nyíri. The AlmaLusa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ervin Nyíri should have stopped the shot. If Nuno Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the match, Takeshi Schims dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ervin Nyíri, 0-11. Takeshi Schims sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ervin Nyíri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nuno Cunha in the 79th minute. Valadas's Laércio Valverde was substituted for Takeshi Schims. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laércio Valverde in the 86th minute of play forced AlmaLusa's goalkeeper Ervin Nyíri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valadas's Hermínio Bomba managed to work through AlmaLusa's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Hermínio Bomba dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Ervin Nyíri came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Valadas's Hermínio Bomba. But to his dismay, Hermínio Bomba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-13. After 96 minutes of play, Valadas's Laércio Valverde made it 0-14 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ervin Nyíri was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match was over Valadas could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AlmaLusa throughout the match.
